COVID-19 has impacted businesses globally, both small and large. Thankfully, governments around the world are working to offer relief to businesses during these tough times. 

We’ve pulled together a list of the different countries we operate in, summarising the relief that is available for businesses in each. We hope you find this helpful. 

UNITED KINGDOM: 

Support for small businesses 

This link takes you to a page outlining relief available for small businesses in the UK, and how to access these schemes. 

Below are a few examples of what’s available: 

  • A Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme

  • Deferring VAT and Income Tax payments

  • A Statutory Sick Pay relief package for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs)

  • 12-month business rates holiday for all retail, hospitality, leisure and nursery businesses in England

  • Small business grant funding of £10,000 for all business in receipt of small business rate relief or rural rate relief

  • Grant funding of £25,000 for retail, hospitality and leisure businesses with property with a rateable value between £15,000 and £51,000

  • The Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme offering loans of up to £5 million for SMEs through the British Business Bank

  • A new lending facility from the Bank of England to help support liquidity among larger firms, helping them bridge coronavirus disruption to their cash flows through loans

  • The HMRC Time To Pay Scheme

Support for individuals 

This link will bring you to a page that outlines the current Sick Pay scheme available to employees who are off sick due to COVID 19. You can claim up to £94.50 per week through Statutory Sick pay. 

IRELAND:

Support for businesses
